Parvez Elahi’s ex-principal secretary booked for allegedly taking bribes

FIR has been registered by Punjab's ACE.  FIR says  part of other  officers of dept would also be delved .  Development comes a day after Elahi’s  motorist and marksman were arrested.  LAHORE Punjab’santi-corruption watchdog on Sunday registered a case against former  principal minister Parvez Elahi’sex-principal clerk Mohammad Khan Bhatti for allegedly taking backhanders,

reported The News.   In the first information report( FIR) registered by the PunjabAnti-Corruption Establishment( ACE), Bhatti is  indicted of taking  further than Rs460 million  fix from  officers of the  parochial  trace department. SDO Highway Police Rana Muhammad Iqbal has  formerly been arrested on charges of bribery while the ACE has also started the process to arrest Bhatti on corruption charges   The FIR says that Iqbal bought Bhatti to get posts of his choice.   

“ Several  officers from the dispatches and construction departments were working for Muhammad Khan Bhatti, ” it added. The FIR  farther  countries that the  part of other  officers of the department would also be delved.   

The development comes a day after the former Punjab chief minister's  motorist and the marksman were arrested for allegedly carrying liquor bottles in Islamabad.   Police claimed that the  indicted gave an envelope full of  plutocrat to Punjab House hand Faheem Mirza in exchange for a briefcase containing liquor bottles on" Elahi’s instructions".   

Police further said that the  indicted have also revealed before the  justice that Faheem and Irshad, the  contended  workers of Punjab House Islamabad, are frontmen of the former chief minister.   Both the alleged frontmen are involved in  financial deals for Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, they claimed. 

A case has been registered against them at Islamabad’s Secretariat Police Station under  colorful  vittles.
